Dance Academy Online - visit the site!
A website for ABC’s teen drama series Dance Academy. The website tied in with the TV series, with new content uploaded twice a week, adding to and expanding upon the story taking place on screen. Viewers were able look inside the characters rooms and the dance studio to find out more about them and about events taking place in the show. They could also access a backstage area where they could see behind the scenes footage of the show.
As the junior interactive designer at Hoodlum, my role included designing content to appear in the different rooms, the interfaces for the characters’ phone and laptops, and the ‘diary’ page where users track the content they’ve seen.
